I'm finally buying a desk

The moment i've been putting off for literall years. I’m finally pulling the trigger and buying myself a goddamn desk.

No more awkwardly cramming my gear onto a TV hurting my back. No more slapping my keyboard down onto a surface that's designed to hold a flat-screen, not a computer. It’s embarrassing, frankly.

For the longest time, i’ve been “getting by” with my so-called “TV stand” setup — a hideous, cramped disaster that’s a mixture of bad ergonomics and questionable aesthetics. I’ve been in denial, pretending that i can function like this. Sure, i’ve got a monitor perched on top, but it feels like my back is gonna crack at any moment now. It's like trying to overclock a potato — you’re just not going to get good results.

But let’s get real. A proper desk, with enough space, peripherals, and a keyboard that doesn’t make me feel like i'm in a cramped airplane seat — that’s the dream. It’s time to embrace functionality over janky workarounds. No more “modding” the TV stand with random books and wooden boxes to create the illusion of space.

I’ve spent minutes researching the perfect desk. No, really. The only thing i wanted for the desk is that it's big enough, high enough and that it doesn't look like it came out of a 80s closet. So i bought one pretty cheap actually.
